This year’s merit-award winning Ultimate Roof Deck wasn’t the only project Jeff King and Co. completed for the Marina Boulevard home in San Francisco. The team also remodeled the master suite. Located off the master suite is an intimate sitting room with access to the deck. Should homeowners decide to bring a guest or two into the sitting room from the newly-updated deck, they can close off the master bedroom to maintain the boundary between shared and private spaces. The sitting room also features a sleek gas fireplace on the wall opposite the door to the suite. The team further helped separate private and public spaces by removing the toilet from the main master bathroom to a separate powder bath that lets guests use the toilet without needing to go through the homeowners’ personal rooms.
