Houzz.com Survey Shows Homeowners Plan to Remodel for Themselves and Not for Resale

According to a recent Houzz to Home survey, on Houzz.com, 86% of homeowners who plan to build, remodel, or decorate in the next two years say “improving the look and feel of the space” is an important driver for remodeling projects, while 47% of those surveyed cite “increasing home value.” The gap between these priorities is consistent across all income levels and demographic groups.
