Once an old-fashioned partitioned living room with a traditional fireplace and bookshelf, the great room of this 30-year-old, single family home in Naples, Fla., now provides a dramatic “wow” factor. But the refurbished space is just the beginning of the partial house remodel.

Completed in September 2016, 41 West founder and co-owner BJ Barone achieved an open and contemporary yet masculine design in the 4,200-square-foot, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath property, with a complete overhaul to the great room, kitchen, master suite, guest bathroom, and outdoor kitchen.

Flip through the slideshow and see how Barone and his team transformed the property from an outdated Mediterranean-style home into a modern masterpiece with a “Miami” feel. Then, listen below as he explains how he and his team achieved the custom backdrop to the new fireplace.
