The Remodeling 550 may be a national compilation of the nation’s biggest full-service remodelers, replacement contractor / home improvement companies, insurance restoration businesses, and franchises, but that U.S.-wide map also is a collection of local maps. And now, for the first time, REMODELING is showing which companies lead the way in key metropolitan areas.
We started with Atlanta, and then looked at Philadelphia and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This time we’re expanding the territory even further by examining the roster of Remodeling 550 firms in Southern California. We’ve included an interactive map from Santa Barbara to San Diego. The same map also can be shrunk or expanded to give you the option of choosing which type of Remodeling 550 member anywhere in the country that you’d like to view.
And here’s a ranking of these firms based on their remodeling revenue in 2015. RC stands for replacement contractor, aka a home improvement firm. FS stands for full-service remodeler, FR is a franchisor, and IR stands for insurance restoration firm. We don’t collect data on franchisors’ revenue, just what individual franchises take in.
