Klauer Prestige steel siding is finished in a four-coat silicone-modified polyester paint process that provides the appearance and texture of wood. Polyester resins provide resistance to chalking, fading, and weathering, according to the manufacturer, while a wood-grain-print overlay adds depth, and a final polyester clear coat protects against scratches, dirt retention, and staining.
