Riding Off Into the Sunset …

.... towards a brand new day. Deck Design Update, PDB’s design e-newsletter, turns a new page

1 MIN READ

As editor of Professional Deck Builder magazine, one of my favorite tasks is assembling the Deck Design Update e-newsletter. We first introduced this digital-only publication in 2014 as a limited edition experiment, but it quickly became a regular feature that we’ve been emailing to our subscribers six times a year. It’s a real treat to be able to browse through PDB’s archives, cherry-pick articles organized around a specific design theme, and share them with fellow deck builders. However, as we progress, our priorities are shifting and this edition – the last one scheduled for 2019 – is the final one.

If you are a subscriber to the Deck Design Update, you’ll receive a complimentary (and automatic) subscription to the weekly JLC Update newsletter, where you’ll find a deep well of “by builder, for builder” resources on a broad range of construction-related topics, including decks. Since 1982, JLC has provided residential and light commercial contractors practical jobsite advice about what works, what doesn’t, and why. If you aren’t already familiar with JLC, you won’t be disappointed.

Meanwhile, thanks for becoming – and remaining – a part of the PDB community. We aren’t going away, and will continue to look for ways to connect with you.
