Even a contractor with all the tools doesn’t have this tool. Are you kidding me? I’d never carry anything again if I had this.
At 462 pounds, the EEE Equipment RDE500 Elektro-Dumper is neither light nor cheap.
It’s the only tool I have ever written about with a Climbing Ability rating (it’s 46%, if you’re wondering). The payload maximum is 1,100 pounds and while the tool is tailored to the commercial contractor transporting loads of concrete rubble and the like, I would without question bridge that bucket with deck boards, fill it with bags of concrete, and drive a deck package behind the house.
Oh, and it’s cordless. We wrote about EEE’s cordless subcompact loader, the Sherpa 100 ECO. The battery is integrated and it purrs its track-driving power out at 50 decibels. EEE Equipment says operating time is 5 hours on a single charge. A 0-to-100% recharge takes six hours—so don’t forget to plug yours in at lunch.
And it accepts a plow blade. Welcome to nary another driveway or sidewalk shoveled. Ever. I’m not sure what use it’d serve in real, actual carpentry life, but it’s cool. It even has a headlight.
Oh wait, here’s a video of it delivering a box up a flight of stairs. Of course. It’s a delivery vehicle too.
