Bosch Nail Strike

1 MIN READ

Here’s a brutal bit for cutting through nails.

We all know the feel and the sound of a once-sharp drill bit that goes from humming through wood fiber to thudding over the shank of a buried nail.

Flanked by the uber-most paddles I’ve ever seen, the Bosch Nail Strike bit is designed to cut through that nail. And 29 more like it.

The thread-tipped paddle bit has a beefed up shank, but chucks down for use with a ¼-inch hex shank. Bosch says the paddles give the bit smoother performance.

Since I like drilling holes approximately zero-much, I’ll take anything that makes the process run more smoothly. The axiom “I want a hole, not a drill” I think was written for me.

@MechanicalHub takes a crack at it live in person on YouTube. Check it out.
