AvE has his own vocabulary, so you might need your English to Canadian to AvE dictionary to iron out some of the things he says in this video (which he calls vid-jay-oh); for instance, he says of what appears to be a 1950s vintage SawzAll that it “has clearly had a lot of hot suppers.”
Then, he takes it apart while explaining every single piece with a level of expertise that’s so impressive it’s hard to take your eyes off. And, suffice it to say, he gets in your head.
With 198 million followers, these super-technical videos are clearly being watched by people who do not even know what a SawzAll is. He’s got something.
Fair warning, he talks like who he is: someone on a jobsite. So if you’re afraid of four-letter words, that won’t chooch. If you want to laugh and be readily impressed by a unique mind and great vid-jay-oh presenter and you don’t know AvE. Now you do.
See you at the bottom of the rabbit hole.
