Everflashing sits on top of the ledger with a leg extending roughly 4 inches up the wall, protecting the vulnerable ledger connection with the house. The flashing is designed to allow decking products to expand and contract. It comes in two widths: 1 1/2 inches, and 2 1/8 inches for use with ledgers that are spaced away from the house wall.
