At the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, MoistureShield rolled out three new deck-accessory products: hidden fasteners, aluminum railing, and lighting. The hidden fasteners, which can be installed with screws or pneumatic fasteners, keep deck boards slightly elevated from the joists to permit air circulation beneath, the company said. The Pro Aluminum Railing is manufactured from an aluminum alloy with a powder-coat finish, initially in a textured black, and comes in kits with all necessary pieces for an 8-foot section.
