Can You Really Regrow a Finger?

1 MIN READ

It’s hard to know what to make of this story. Did the fellow who had the table saw accident regrow a substantial part of his finger or was it just the tip? Whatever it was, I congratulate him on his recovery but not on his relapse into dangerous work practices.

I understand why flooring installers free-hand cut on the table saw (it’s so they can quickly make tapered pieces), but really – do you have to put your fingers that close to the blade? And what’s with the squinting and not wearing safety glasses? That “miracle powder” may work for fingers – but no one said it can regenerate eyeballs.

Watch the video and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Feel free to comment.
