A Mind-Blowing Home-Built Dump Truck

1 MIN READ

Andy says boredom is a terrible thing, so to keep from getting bored he built himself a home-made dump truck. Not a truck with a home-made dump bed, an entire home-made truck.

It’s all-wheel drive and is pieced together from scavenged parts from multiple vehicles. The engine and transmission are from a Jetta, the axles from a Toyota, and the seats from a Ford. The frame and many other parts are entirely home-made. Andy uses it to plow snow, haul wood and hay, and of course – to keep from getting bored. The video below was shot by Matthias Wandel, a Canadian engineer who is himself a gifted builder of tools and machines.
