Thin Winter Work Gloves

Here’s a clever tip for keeping hands warm while maintaining dexterity.

1 MIN READ

Robert Shaw is a deck builder in Colorado and like most contractors he can’t stay home just because it is cold. Thick winter gloves are not an option because they detract too much from dexterity so Shaw came up with the idea of wearing latex (medical) gloves under the thin latex-coated cotton gloves he normally wears. It worked like a charm, keeping his hands warm and allowing him to avoid taking his gloves off to perform tasks that require dexterity. The latex gloves didn’t hold up so he later switched to a nitrile under-glove. See the details here.
