DeWalt’s Cordless Metal Connector Nailer

1 MIN READ

Following their successful second generation battery-powered framing nailer, DeWalt is coming out with a single-shot style positive placement metal connector nailer. Designed for attaching builder’s hardware with either 1 1/2-inch or 2 1/2-inch collated nails, the DCN693 nailer is expected to premiere in the second quarter of 2016. The nailer is part of the brand’s 20-volt max cordless tool system and is a great example of a tool that can really benefit by being produced in a hoseless version. Not having to drag a hose around through the tight confines of joist bays and to other joints where metal connectors are prevalent is a real plus.
