GuildQuality Service Exellence Distinction: Again this year, Remodeling partnered with customer satisfaction surveying company GuildQuality to power the Remodeling 550 Service Excellence Distinction. The 2017 Remodeling 550 comes in four lists, each represented in a tab below and showing who’s who among full-service remodelers, replacement contractors, insurance restoration companies, and franchisors. Companies are ranked based on their 2016 revenue generated from remodeling; not by the company’s gross revenue. They can easily be sorted based on factors such as the company’s location, 2016 revenues, and number of jobs done.
We also have a summary of this year’s research as well as key takeaways regarding the state of remodeling firms today.

The bulk of the information in the REMODELING 550 comes from the companies themselves based on their responses to an online survey. Additional information came via email, phone calls, and public sources.
GuildQuality Service Exellence Distinction: Again this year, Remodeling partnered with customer satisfaction surveying company GuildQuality to power the Remodeling 550 Service Excellence Distinction. In order to participate, companies had to submit all of their customers from 2016 to be surveyed via GuildQuality’s independent, multi-touch survey process. GuildQuality then selected a random sample of customers to survey based on the company’s volume. The companies that received the Service Excellence Distinction achieved a recommendation rate of at least 90% and a response rate of 50% to 70%, depending on project volume.
Canadian Companies: Figures for Canadian companies have been converted to U.S. dollars.
