Klein Tools has just added two new voltage testers to its line: the ET60 Electronic AC/DC Voltage Tester and the ET250 Digital AC/DC Voltage & Continuity Tester.

ET60 Electronic AC/DC Voltage Tester
The new ET60 measures AC/DC volts up to 600V and is powered by the applied voltage, eliminating the need for a battery. Its tough, resistant design protects it from water and dust and can reportedly take drops up to a little over 9 feet. The integrated test-lead holders are compatible with U.S. electrical outlets. It also uses standard replaceable test leads for convenient use. Rated CAT IV 600V for Safety. Cost: $25-$30 online.

ET250 Digital AC/DC Voltage Continuity Tester
The new ET250 measures AC/DC voltages up to 600V, has a similar exterior design to the ET60, and is equipped with the same integrated test-lead holders. Additional features include a backlit LCD display and built-in flashlight for poorly lit work spaces. The unit automatically powers on and selects the correct measurement mode when a voltage/continuity measurement is attempted. In dedicated test mode, it can test GFCI-protected circuits. Rated CAT IV 600V for safety. Cost: $35 to $40 online.
