Two new jigsaw blades are now available from Bosch, both made with carbide brazing that is said to improve blade life by 10x when compared with standard bi-metal blades. The T-Shank Bosch Carbide for All Purpose and Bosch Carbide for High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) jigsaw blades are made specifically for tough laminate, wood with nails, and other hard materials, like steel pipe. The new jigsaw blades can reportedly withstand a nail hit and keep on going. They include Bosch’s Progressor® Technology, which combines small and large teeth for optimized performance by increasing speed and blade life and an extended tip for easier plunge cutting. Both blades are equipped with a tapered-ground back design and a thin blade kerf.
