Plans are in the works for Kim Katwijk and Clemens Jellema’s annual Deck Builder Photography Workshop, to be held again immediately following the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas. The cost is TBD, but as in past years, the minimal fee for the approximately three-day workshop covers transportation from Las Vegas to the workshop site and back again (and a few related park entrance fees); attendees will be responsible for their own lodging and meals. Venues under consideration include Death Valley National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and the Arches National Park.
Landscape and wildlife photography will be the focus again, but as in past years, skills learned during the course are directly applicable to deck photography. Video will also be covered, and evening sessions will introduce participants to editing software that can be used to transform photographs and raw video footage into useful tools for generating new leads and promoting your business.
For more information about the workshop, which is scheduled from February 22 to 25, contact Kim Katwijk via email at kdecks@gmail.com, or by sending your inquiry to prodeck@hanleywood.com.
