Acculynx, a provider of business management software for roofing contractors, launched several new features, including automated emails, texting, payment processing, and homeowner financing, to provide roofing contractors the ability to collaborate effectively while working remotely.

Acculynx’s software is designed to help roofing contractors manage every aspect of their job from a single, cloud-based application, combining customer relationship management and project management functionality. The software also includes tools such as estimating, photo-sharing, aerial measuring, material ordering, and labor scheduling to support roofing sales and the production process.

The new features are designed to promote smooth business practices during the coronavirus pandemic. The features added to Acculynx let contractors trigger automated notifications via email and text message, making it easier to keep other team members, insurance adjusters, and customers informed throughout a project.

Acculynx also introduced payment processing and an integrated point-of-sale financing option. The financing option, AccuPay, is a secure way for contractors to process credit card transactions online or over the phone, according to the company.

“Many roofing contractors are adjusting to COVID-19 by having office staff work remotely and keeping in-person visits to a minimum,” Mike Stein, CEO of AccuLynx, said in a news release. “AccuLynx allows project teams to collaborate in realtime and service customers without making unnecessary trips into the office or meeting with homeowners in person.”

AccuLynx is a cloud-based software application designed to help contractors manage and grow their business by allowing management of all aspects of the business. It is the preferred software vendor of CertainTeed, GAF, and Owens Corning.
