The award recognizes the professional and personal achievements of four finalists and one winner, who have exemplified innovation in their business through the use of technology, materials, or new programs.

The award was established by Fred Case, founder of Case Design/Remodeling, who has sought to constantly elevate the level of professionalism in the industry. Nominees for the award are evaluated for their business acumen, company financial strength, community and industry involement, and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Nominees from previous years can reapply (as long as requirements above are met); finalists from 2016 must take one year off before reapplying, and all previous winners are not allowed to reapply
  • Nominees must be an individual or partnership (not company) who has made a lasting contribution to the remodeling industry and who meets the following judging criteria:
    • Active in the community by providing professional services and time
