Nationwide commercial roof consulting company BLUEFIN announced its acquisition of Professional Roof Services, Inc. (PRSI) in a news release today. BLUEFIN’s acquisition of the Delaware-based roof consulting company strengthens its ability to provide consulting services to Mid-Atlantic clients and reinforces the company’s position as the largest consulting group in the industry, according to the news release.
According to the news release, BLUEFIN is the first roof consulting company to provide mobile assessment, online analytics, and data management for customers. The Denver-based company also offers consulting for pavement and building envelope management.
PRSI president Blaine Chipola carefully searched to combine PRSI with a company that will add resources and capabilities to provide growth opportunities for the roof consulting company, according to the news release.

The acquisition of PRSI is BLUEFIN’s second acquisition since it closed on roof consulting company CyberCon Consulting in 2017. BLUEFIN has also expanded its Dallas-Fort Worth office and grown its presence in the Pacific Northwest in the past year.
