Endeck Finds New Owner

When Jacksonville-based Enduris Extrusions shut down last year, it looked like the company’s popular Endeck capped cellular PVC decking would disappear from the marketplace. But Enduris’ largest Endeck customer–Eastern Metal Supply, based in Lakeworth, Fla.–acquired the tooling, embossing equipment, proprietary formulations, testing, certifications, trademarks, literature, and existing Endeck inventory last fall with plans to restart production. According to Mike Brown, marketing and sales manager for EMS, the company is now overseeing the production of Endeck in a satellite facility that was once managed by Enduris. As it rebuilds inventory, Brown expects that every color and length in the Endeck product line of decking and fascia should be in stock by the end of January.
