It was at the Remodeling Show that I learned about — and have implemented — the DISC profiling system for hiring and appropriate questions to ask when hiring, which have allowed me to feel more confident about reading someone.

I’ve also taken a lot of the management and leadership classes at the show — resolving conflict with employees, negotiating with clients, etc. That language sticks with you.

Then there’s seeing the new products and new technologies at the show — it keeps us cutting edge. The first time I saw a PalmPilot was at the Remodeling Show.
