Renovation and design platform Houzz launched Houzz Pro, an all-in-one software-as-a-service solution that helps remodeling and design professionals stand out, win more clients, increase profits, and stay more connected with their clients and teams. The software enables construction pros to manage their entire project and client lifecycle in one place.

In addition to Houzz Pro, Houzz also launched a Houzz Pro app to help pros manage all of their business activities and client communication. According to Houzz, the Houzz Pro app has all the functionality of a desktop software, allowing pros to access and manage information from anywhere at anytime.

“Now, more than ever, home building and remodeling pros are asking for tools that will help them run profitably and efficiently, and deliver an amazing client experience,” Alon Cohen, Houzz co-founder and president, said in a public statement. “Houzz Pro was born from listening to feedback from our pro community, and it is important to us that this powerful solution is both affordable and easy-to-use. We understand pros in our community are facing new challenges with COVID-19 and, given these unique demands, we are providing the software to all our existing pro subscribers as part of their subscription.”

The coronavirus pandemic has caused professionals to drastically change how they conduct business. A recent Houzz survey found that almost two in five professionals were adopting remote collaboration tools and more than a quarter were implementing online tools for document approval, contract approval, invoicing, and payments.

The Houzz Pro software has a built-in messaging tool that aims to unify real-time chat and email communication with clients, including photo and document sharing, invoices, change orders, and timelines. The tool will track the entire communication history between pros and clients, including key activities and client approvals. A built-in client dashboard will allow professionals to share updates throughout the project, including milestones and phase completion. The software also features an estimate creation tool to enable pros to build faster and more accurate estimates from pre-loaded, project-specific templates, including products, materials, and installation costs specific to the project’s zip code.

Houzz Pro also features a lead management tool to help clients manage their client pipeline. Professionals will be able to communicate directly with prospective clients and use a scheduling tool to integrate plans directly into their calendar.

The software also tracks change orders and schedule payments and allows pros to get client approval through a digital signature. Houzz Pro’s online payment system is designed with simplicity for clients in mind and allows pros to get paid faster by credit care.

Houzz Pro is available at pro.houzz.com. New subscriptions for the service and software start at $50 per month.
