Big50 honoree shares the advantages of transitioning from paper to iPads

In this edition of Big50 Bites—our audio series on the biggest issues facing remodelers today—we talk to John Brophy from Compass Property Services in Grand Rapids, Mich. Three years ago the firm transitioned from a paper-based system to using iPads, which allows the crew to store all of a job’s information on the cloud and makes accounting a much smoother process. But there are other advantages. With them come a few challenges, but the pros outweigh the cons, Brophy explains. Listen as he shares the benefits of using technology in the field.

I’ve heard a lot of other remodelers who say they spend their whole day just driving from job to job to job to puts eyes on it, and we can do that virtually now.
