NADRA Code Update: It Happened in Vegas

The 2021 International Residential Code development process is winding down, with the final public comment session taking place in Las Vegas in late October. NADRA code guru Glenn Mathewson was in attendance, and notes that most of the code proposals favored by NADRA are, in his words, “as good as done.” Still pending are proposals related to loading requirements for guards and handrails, and to tables for snow loads, post sizing, and joist spans.
