Making a New Year’s Resolution: Remodel!

Tap the New Year urge to improve by getting people inspired to remodel their homes

1 MIN READ

January is a great time to help your former and potential clients remember that they could have their home remodeled to better serve their wants and needs. Resolutions regarding change of all sorts are being made. Why not changes to their home?

In my work, I receive newsletters from many remodelers. Recently I got the latest edition from a friend and a very good remodeler, John Sylvestre of Sylvestre Construction, in Minneapolis.

John suggests that the reader does the following: “Start with a Holiday Home Tour — of your own house!” He then goes on to walk the reader through some possible desired changes one could make to one’s home.

This is a great message to adapt and use to get your newsletter readers thinking about why 2013 is the right time to get their homes remodeled. Let them do the dreaming for a bit and then follow up with a phone call to those folks who it would be a pleasure to talk to. I bet you can help them make the changes they want!
