Over the last few code cycles, NADRA has relied on outside efforts to influence deck code development. Now, though, the organization has decided to hire noted building code expert and frequent PDB contributor Glenn Mathewson to attend the upcoming code hearings, submit proposals on NADRA’s behalf, and become part of the technical dialogue between competing interests that always surround code development. Most recently, Mathewson helped to successfully develop an ICC-approved deck code training program for NADRA members.
