Versatex Xceed cellular PVC lap siding is fabricated in 16-foot lengths that interlock with the course below to maintain a level installation. Nail slots are spaced on 16-inch centers and butt joints are secured with a nail hem bracket and screws. The manufacturer says the panels have a heat-reflective acrylic capstock and are water-resistant and maintenance-free. The initial product rollout includes a lap siding profile with a 4 1/2-inch reveal, with plans to add a wider profile with a 7 1/2-inch reveal.
