Deck America of Woodbridge, Va., has announced that it will sell several deck models through approximately 70 Home Depot stores.
“The Home Depot has a strong brand that provides Deck America with a new channel of distribution and is a great strategic fit to our growth plans,” Dan Betts, president of Deck America, said in a press release. His company will sell, furnish, and install its Designer Deck systems in several markets in the Washington-Baltimore-Richmond area.
In a transaction finalized in November 2002, U.S. Home Systems acquired Deck America. With the merger complete, both companies have been kept intact.
