Designed for regions that get more than 40 inches of annual rainfall, DuPont introduces RainVent Battens. Do away with wood furring strips in favor of corrugated plastic that won’t warp, rot, or deteriorate over time. The battens measure 15/8 inches wide, 3/8 inch thick, and come in 8-foot strips. Stapled over a water-resistive barrier, the strips create air space between the cladding and the water barrier for a more durable moisture management that promotes drying.
