American Standard. Three bathroom collections now feature high-efficiency toilets (HETs). Studio, Tropic, and Evolution 2 HETs offer styles that range from traditional to contemporary, plus improved water savings. Each model is capable of flushing more than 2.2 pounds of solids without double flushing or clogging, the maker says. The HET fixtures use just 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf) compared with standard 1.6-gpf toilets. The Studio and Tropic HETs feature 3-inch flush valves for greater flushing power and the EverClean antimicrobial surface inhibits mold, bacteria, and mildew growth.
