Low Decibels, High Tech: Zephyr Monsoon DCBL Insert

1 MIN READ

Like advancing power tool technology, the Monsoon DCBL liner incorporates a DC brushless motor that uses magnets to conduct energy, reducing the heat and friction that cause parts failure, noise, and wasted energy. The result is a rangehood that offers more powerful working speed levels while remaining nearly inaudible, the maker says.

In addition to a quiet, efficient motor, Monsoon DCBL can be ducted horizontally or vertically for versatility in kitchen design and features an ADA-compliant wireless RF remote control with a 15-foot range. The liner is available in 36- or 42-inch–wide vent hood configurations.

Other features include a 22½-inch depth for increased capture, removable stainless steel baffle filters, LED lighting, and 5-speed electronic controls. Zephyr | 888.880.8368 | zephyronline.com
