Wisconsin-based remodeler Tundraland Home Improvements set the Guinness World Records title for largest display of painted windows August 21, the company announced in a press release. The company displayed 1,651 painted windows to break the previous world record of 1,500 windows.

Tundraland, based in Kaukauna, Wisc., specializes in bathroom remodels, replacement windows, and decks. The company set the new Guinness World Records mark at its annual fundraiser, Windows for a Cause. Instead of throwing away old windows on window installation jobs, Tundraland collaborates annually with artists, organizations, and Wisconsin community figures to turn the old windows in pieces of art. Tundraland then auctions off the painted windows, with all the proceeds going towards local families and individuals in need.

“We had two-year-old kids painting, we had grandparents painting,” Tundraland president and owner Brian Gottlieb said. “It was great to see the community come out to help make setting a Guinness World Records title a reality.”
