Dasso XTR Fused Bamboo Decking

1 MIN READ

Meghan Malone

Denser than ipe, according to the manufacturer, Dasso XTR decking is 87% bamboo, bonded with phenolic resin. The 6-foot-long boards are grooved for hidden fasteners and can be installed with either the smooth or the reeded side up. According to the company’s website, the decking comes pre-primed but should get another coat of finish after installation. Boards can be ordered unfinished for staining. Planks are 3/4 inch thick and 5 3/8 inches wide and are end-matched with a tongue-and-groove profile so butt joints do not have to land on a joist. The decking can be installed on 12-, 16-, 18-, and 24-inch centers and has a Class A fire rating. DassoXTR, 855.774.0002, dassoxtr.com
