Osmose MicroShades – MicroPro

Decking treated with the Osmose MicroShades/MicroPro system receives a colorant right along with the micronized copper that protects the wood against fungal decay and insect damage. In addition to a natural finish, shades similar to cedar and redwood are available. Osmose makes the chemicals used to treat the wood, but not the finished decking and fencing that consumers buy. Universal Forest Products’ ProWood Dura Color, Great Southern Yella Wood Color-Full, and Home Depot’s WeatherShield are all brands that use the Osmose system to treat decking.
