Wood-floor pro Keith Graff is always on the lookout for pieces of history on and under the floorboards he works on, and having a sharp eye has paid off—literally, when it comes to the number of coins he’s unearthed over the years, writes Ryan Kushner in Wood Floor Business. Graff owns Fenton, Mo.-based Graff Floor Sanding, and says that he’s discovered old newspapers, trading cards, toys, and a collection of the Saturday Evening Post from 1923. Graff explains that he always informs the homeowners of his discoveries, though most are content to let him keep what he has found.
