This year’s Remodeling 550 keeps growing. The top 300 full-service firms on the 2018 Remodeling 550 list earned $1.65 billion from their remodeling projects in 2018. That’s 7.4% more than these firms earned in 2016.

Revenues fluctuated from 2008-2013. In 2009, revenues were 6.1% less than they were in 2008. In 2010, however, companies earned 7.2% more than they did in 2009. Starting in 2013, once the industry regained somewhat solid footing after the recession, revenues have climbed each year.

Overall, companies seem to be gaining their confidence back and finding their sweet spot customers. The top 300 companies anticipate another great year in 2018: They predict they will earn 13.4% more than they did in 2017.

We will release the 2018 Remodeling 550 list on May 23. On that day, visit remodeling.hw.net/benchmarks/remodeling-550 to see the list and find out where your company ranks.
