Repeat business and website traffic remain the top sources of lead generation for both full-service and replacement contractors. Compared with full-service firms, replacement contractors rely more on internet pay-per-clicks, home shows, television, door-to-door canvassing, manufacturer-provided leads, and radio. Full-service firms rely more heavily on social media, job signage, and newspaper advertisements. Repeat customers are essential to both.
