Maryland Congressman Hosts Economic Round Table With Thompson Creek Windows

Congressman Anthony Brown toured a facility in Maryland, discussed new legislation

Maryland Congressman Anthony Brown received a private factory tour of Thompson Creek’s facility in Upper Marlboro, Md., earlier this month. Aiming to strengthen the economic climate in Maryland, the congressman held a round table discussion with Thompson Creek and other local manufacturers.

Topics of discussion included certain business challenges and the 21st Century Investment Act of 2017, a bill the congressman will introduce to Congress in order to leverage existing tax credits to spur innovation, increase productivity and create jobs.

Over the years, Thompson Creek has ejoyed visits of other high-ranking officials, including President Obama and Governor Hogan. The company is determined to grow as a regional business leader and job creator over the next 5-10 years.
