No Quick Vote on Flood Insurance Delays in House

House Republicans voted 225-193 to reject a quick vote on the Senate legislation to delay flood insurance.

House representatives voted almost directly on party lines to reject a quick vote on the Senate flood insurance delay bill.

House Democrats motioned to “strike the last word,” and modify a wildlife bill currently making its way through the House. If successful, they would have tacked the Senate’s flood insurance bill’s language on to the wildlife bill’s, effectively linking the two.
