We suspect that in many jurisdictions, waiting in line and then running the gantlet to get a permit ranks among the most frustrating jobs a remodeler does. And so we wondered: What do you do about it? For one thing, how many remodeling company owners (or their staffers) handle permit work themselves and how many hire others to do the job?
