Remodeling Asks: How Do You Pull Permits?

Take our survey to help find out whether most remodelers wait in line or hire someone to do it.

Odds are, you have figured out how to do lots of things quicker and more efficiently. But what about pulling permits?

We suspect that in many jurisdictions, waiting in line and then running the gantlet to get a permit ranks among the most frustrating jobs a remodeler does. And so we wondered: What do you do about it? For one thing, how many remodeling company owners (or their staffers) handle permit work themselves and how many hire others to do the job? And just how much time each year does a remodeler spend in the permit office?

To that end, we compiled the super-quick survey you’ll see below. Answer the top questions, decide if you want to go public with your comments, and then send it in. We’ll report the results shortly. Thanks!
