EPA Settles with Home Improvement Firm to Pay $11K Over Lead-Paint Safety Violations
The EPA claims that Anaheim, Calif., home improvement company Powerstar Home Energy Solutions failed to comply with federal lead-based paint safety regulations. The EPA settled with the company, which now has to pay $11,429 for a civil penalty.
