New to shelf this year, Paslode has upgraded the previous PowerMaster Plus with the improved PowerMaster Pro. This new nailer has better balance than before. The better balance is attributed to using an inline (and lighter) magazine and by moving the center of gravity closer to the trigger. This durable pneumatic nailer was validated by firing 900,000 times at 120 psi and survived multiple10-foot drop tests onto concrete.
The PowerMaster™ Pro increases productivity with features like a quick two-step rear-load magazine and a lighter weight housing of only 7.9lbs., which reduces fatigue when working all day long. The PowerMaster™ engine—a “proven workhorse”—ensures nails drive flush into the toughest lumber, allowing you to maintain job-site momentum. When driving a nail at 120 psi, the piston and driver blade accelerate from 0-to 102-mph, driving a nail in around eight milliseconds.
More than hard-working, this nailer is also tough on the jobsite. The PowerMaster Pro experiences about 3,000 g’s of shock every time a nail is driven. The nose experiences 6,000 g’s of shock. (To put this in a frame of reference, humans can survive a car crash up to 100 g’s. A V-8 Formula One engine, maximum piston acceleration is 8,000g’s.)
