The Unisaw is regarded as the industry standard, and I was pleased with it; it’s a well-designed and -built tool. There was plenty of power and a nice fence and miter gauge. I wish the plates on the fence were easier to adjust, but once set the fence was solid. The power switch was one of the best in the test with an easy-to-use off button. Design innovations on European saws show up on this machine. The working riving knife and blade guard (with dust port!) should be standard features on any model. These refinements coupled with a massive undercarriage and integrated dust collection set this saw apart. I also liked the blade change.
