A Slick Way to Set a Miter Gauge

The Miter Gauge Set is a little jig that will help you set your table saw's gauge accurately and quickly.

Every so often I stumble upon tools that are off the beaten path–often developed by contractors or woodworkers out of necessity and ingenuity. Problem solvers. The RazorScribe is a good example (stay tuned for a full review of that in an upcoming issue). This miter gauge set is another example. What’s the problem it solves?

Simply put, the Miter Gauge set is a jig for accurately setting your table saw’s miter gauge. The set comes in two configurations: Standard ($70), for making cuts .5° up to 52.5° in .5° segments; Segments ($70) allows you to set your gauge for up to 20 segments. Both sets are available as a package for $130.

In the video below, Woodworker Izzy Swan does a nice job explaining the benefits of this tool, and how to use it.
