The DWE7491RS is the largest of three table saws introduced by DeWalt in 2013. It has a number of improved features but its main claims to fame are a rock-steady stand, a 32 1/2-inch rip capacity, and a guard with its own dust port. I wrote about this saw after seeing it previewed at a DeWalt event last August, but that’s not the same as using it on a day-to-day basis. The manufacturer sent me a saw early this year and I gave it to finish carpenter Jesse Wright so he could put it to work on one of his projects. After using it for a month he invited me to the jobsite and I shot a video (see below) in which he describes the pros and cons of the machine.
