DeWalt Rotary Hammer With Dust Collection

1 MIN READ

An active dust extractor mounted to a cordless rotary hammer may look unwieldy, but it can be less of a hindrance than dragging a dust-collecting vacuum around a building when drilling numerous anchor holes. For the latest in slightly bulky convenience, enter DeWalt’s 1-inch, 20-volt Max cordless rotary hammer, the DCH273P2, and its accessory D25303DH dust extractor (sold separately). When connected, both units are powered by the tool’s 5.0-Ah battery pack, but the dust extractor does have its own motor. On its own merits, the rotary hammer features a brushless motor that generates 1.5 foot-pounds of drilling or chipping impact energy, with a vibration rating of 6.6 m/s2.

Cost for the D25303DH dust extractor: approx. $180 (found online)

Cost for the DCH273P2 rotary hammer: approx. $530 (found online)
