Diablo recently released the Demo Demon Amped circular saw blade with “Tracking Point Amped tooth technology.” This 7-1/4-inch 24-tooth demo saw blade (D0724D) is intentionally engineered to cut through rough, abrasive surfaces; as demonstrated in the photo, it is cutting through asphalt shingles and wood embedded with lag bolts. According to the manufacturer, the 3-tooth grind sequence is intended to improve tracking control through the cut. The Demo Demon also has Diablo’s proprietary “Lock-Tooth Technology,” said to improve tip-to-blade connection; Dura-Blend Carbide, meant to improve endurance; a Perma-Shield non-stick coating; and a laser-cut thin kerf for greater cutting efficiency. Cost: $15
